The CROSSWAY Low Entry ELEC has been recognized by the readers of the German trade magazine Busplaner, who awarded it the "Busplaner Innovation Award 2025" in the "Intercity" category. This is the second award for this electric intercity vehicle.

The CROSSWAY Low Entry ELEC has been awarded the "Busplaner Innovation Award 2025" in the Intercity category. This distinction results from votes cast by the readers of the German trade magazine Busplaner. The CROSSWAY Low Entry ELEC, already crowned "Sustainable Bus of the Year 2024," adds yet another title to its list of achievements.

The "Busplaner Innovation Award 2025" recognizes outstanding developments in mobility solutions and components, as well as tourism services.

The editorial team of Busplaner selected 66 innovative solutions across 13 categories, covering electric and hybrid models, coaches, intercity buses, assistance systems, fleet management, and tourism offerings, offering their readers the opportunity to vote for their favourite innovations. Among the nominated products, electromobility was well-represented with electric solutions proposed in four categories, including intercity vehicles.

The CROSSWAY, the European leader in the intercity segment with over 50% market share, has been in production since 2006. Appreciated by customers worldwide, this vehicle is recognized for its reliability and performance in terms of operating costs. The electric Low Entry version of the CROSSWAY has been specifically designed by IVECO BUS for zero-emission intercity operations, perfectly meeting the needs of short-distance missions that require high accessibility and maximum seating capacity.
