Iveco Czech Republic, a.s. has been recognised twice at the prestigious “TOP Responsible Company 2025” competition, organised by Business for Society. The awards ceremony, held on December 4 at the Czech National Bank Congress Center in Prague, was attended by Minister of Justice Eva Decroix, Central Bohemian Region Governor Petra Packová, and representatives of leading companies, sustainability experts, and public administration officials.

Regarded as the most important independent benchmark for corporate responsibility in the Czech Republic, this competition honours companies that demonstrate a sustained commitment to sustainable development, reducing their environmental footprint, and innovating for the benefit of society.

“TOP Responsible Company 2025” - Innovation for Sustainability category

IVECO BUS received the award in the Innovation for Sustainability category for its electric intercity models CROSSWAY ELEC and CROSSWAY LE ELEC, representing a major step in the energy transition of public transport. These 100% electric buses actively contribute to the decarbonization of mobility for intercity, urban, suburban, and school routes, ahead of European regulatory requirements for emission reduction.

The project, launched in 2019, brought together a multicultural team of 70 experts mainly from the Czech Republic and France R&D centres, and involved collaboration with nearly 500 suppliers. The launch of the first Low Entry model occurred in 2023, and since then, hundreds of vehicles have been delivered across Europe.

The second award, received by Iveco Czech Republic, a.s. during the ceremony, recognizes the “Offline World for Children” project, which encourages creativity, physical activity, and mental well-being among young people by supporting screen-free activities in local schools and communities. Each year, the initiative involves over 20 schools, 50 organizations, and 200 employees, strengthening local cohesion.
