IVECO BUS launches its ReGENERATE commercial campaign for remanufactured spare parts and confirms its commitment to an ever more sustainable mobility by offering a comprehensive remanufactured parts range for its buses and coaches. This alternative and complementary offering solution to new original parts is respectful of resources usage without compromising on quality and safety. More than 400 parts, among driveline, engines, exhaust and braking components are available for customers.

The 100 % genuine remanufactured Reman Parts from IVECO BUS come from returned parts (cores) that have been checked, disassembled, and finally remanufactured in our dedicated plant of Garchizy, in France. IVECO BUS Reman products ensure the same performance and quality of the equivalent original parts, granting 2 years warranty for complete engines, long blocks, and gearboxes, 1 -year on all other products. The product benefit for the customer is real (up to 50% savings compared to the equivalent new product) providing a competitive solution also from the economical point of view.

Remanufacturing is an industrial process which gives a second birth to IVECO BUS products. In practice, the cores of spare parts such as engines or turbochargers of IVECO BUS vehicles are collected from our repair network and then carefully disassembled. Each component follows a specially adapted cleaning process, using chemical and mechanical methods, then a strict and technological advanced examination during which any defect is immediately evidenced. Next comes the crucial phase of remanufacturing according to the same technical machining operations and inspection specifications as the new original parts. Finally, the remanufactured parts are assembled and tested to guarantee their perfect state of conformity and functioning. They again meet the highest quality standards just like new parts.

This remanufacturing process, unlike a traditional repair, ensures customers of high-quality level, as repaired products do not follow the same industrial process or conformity test. Their reliability, especially in case of large repair, is not comparable and the machine immobilization time is much longer.
