FPT INDUSTRIAL GOES SUSTAINABLE IN VENICE. ENGINES AND AN ART INSTALLATION TO UNDERLINE THE BRAND’S PATH TO DECARBONIZATION

FPT Industrial embraces sustainability in Venice. The Brand participated in the lagoon city’s boat show, showing off its full line-up of sustainable Stage V marine engines, and is strengthening its commitment to sustainability through the technical partnership with the Italian Pavilion at the 59th International Art Exhibition - La Biennale di Venezia.

FPT Industrial and its distributor Bimotor participated together in the 3rd edition of the Venice Boat Show, from May 28th to June 5th at the Arsenale. The shared stand showcased the impressive range of FPT Industrial’s Stage V marine engines, including the C90 170 Stage V, N40 170 Stage V and N67 170 Stage V.

Designed to meet the most demanding emission regulations, FPT Industrial’s Stage V, ATS-free marine range delivers best-in-class uptime, ease of installation, and exceptional fuel efficiency, resulting in reduced cost of ownership.

CUSTOMER SERVICE – INNOVATION, PREVENTION, INTERVENTION

Advanced engines need advanced customer service. This is the FPT Industrial approach for the marine sector. Alongside the promise “You need the best uptime, we make it happen”, the brand has developed a series of innovative services, all based on three pillars: reliability, protection (through extended warranty contracts), and uptime. Two broad examples, designed to bring customers into the digitized and connected world, are the MyFPT App – providing engine information and support through your smartphone, and the Control Room – offering 24/7 monitoring of all connected engines and enabling proactive maintenance, both built with customer satisfaction in mind.

FPT INDUSTRIAL IS THE TECHNICAL SPONSOR OF THE ITALIAN PAVILION AT THE 59TH INTERNATIONAL ART EXHIBITION - LA BIENNALE DI VENEZIA

A different exhibition and a different space, but once again with an FPT Industrial engine in the spotlight. FPT Industrial is a technical sponsor of the Italian Pavilion at the 59th International Art Exhibition - La Biennale di Venezia, promoted by the Directorate-General Contemporary Creativity – Ministry of Culture, confirming the brand’s commitment to sustainability through contemporary art.

The entire pavilion is given over to an artwork by artist Gian Maria Tosatti with an environmental installation, curated by Eugenio Viola, called Storia della Notte e Destino delle Comete [History of Night and Destiny of Comets], which explores the relationship between man and nature and encourages reflection on the current state of humanity and its future prospects, explicitly referring to the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

The spaces dedicated to the final vision, Destiny of Comets, which carries a message of hope about the destiny awaiting humanity, feature the engine loaned for the project by FPT Industrial, which the artist has placed at the center of one of his scenarios.

The technical sponsorship of the Italian Pavilion is another accolade in the FPT Arts ecosystem, started in 2019 when the brand was main sponsor of the Italian Pavilion at the International Art Exhibition - La Biennale di Venezia. FPT Industrial promoted the site-specific installation Consider Yourself as a Guest (Cornucopia) by Christian Holstad, to make people think about the urgent problem of marine pollution, stemming from the importance marine engine production holds for the Brand. Through these artistic projects, the brand is clearly showing its commitment to sustainability in its products and production processes.

SPECIAL GUESTS AT THE VENICE BOAT SHOW STAND

On May 30th, representatives of the Aprilia Racing Team in the MotoGP World Championship, of which FPT Industrial is Official Sponsor, were present at the Venice Boat Show stand for a meet & greet with visitors and fans. The team members included Lorenzo Savadori, Aprilia Racing MotoGP racer and tester who worked alongside the team’s engineers and technicians in developing the RS-GP bike, which is racking up some impressive results this season. FPT Industrial and Aprilia Racing Team share a focus on technology and innovation which allows them to constantly improve both their product portfolios and production processes. This is made possible by the strong emphasis the two companies place on their people, as well as attention to detail being firmly ingrained in the respective corporate DNAs.
